I have been putting off doing updates over here. sheer laziness on my part.
I just got my 22 lbs of romney in today along wtih my 5 lbs of merino!
So! Lots of updates to be expected.
Im also going to be lowering the prices of the current skeins over at my website.
It may take until later this evening though as having kids can make this kind of thing hard to do!

I finally got my hands on some paste food dyes.
Here is a little sample I dyed this afternoon after baking some yummy chocholate chip bananna muffins.

I wish I would have done a bigger batch but it was just to get the feel for it. Cant wait to see how it turns out spun up. Maybe I should card these colors together? I still need to get a better feel for carding.

Approx. 48 yards / 143 feet 100% wool averaging 7 wpi = bulky yarn plyed with brown thread
